Jesus is God's one and only perfect Son.
Jesus is also the one and only perfect person and He lived a perfect life.
We can not do that because we are born of man.
Jesus is the Son of God.
Jesus came to earth as a man. If you never did anything wrong you would think that people would love you. Lots of people do love Jesus.
But some people hate Jesus and wanted Him to die. They put Him on a cross and nailed Him to it. They just stood by and watched Him die.
This page is red to represent His blood.
The Good News is that Jesus was put in a tomb and on the third day Jesus arose (He came back from the dead) He is alive today.
Jesus died for you and me, for everyone on that cross.
The Bible says in Hebrews 9:22 "Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness"
When Jesus was dying on the
cross He said "It is finished."
That means that
everything that needed to be done about your sins was done on the
cross. Because of what Jesus did on the cross you can be forgiven
from your sins.
